About the event
As always when dark the park can only be exited from the Monkey Gate, that is the one nearest London Zoo. (red pin in the map)
The sun sets at 21:10 so there will be an opportunity to observe the sun through safe filtered solar telescopes PLEASE DO NOT LOOK AT THE SUN THROUGH ANY OTHER INSTRUMENTS OR WITH YOUR NAKED EYES!
We should be able to gaze at the Red Planet, Mars and marvel at the Moon which will be at First Quarter, an ideal time to look at our natural satellite.
